John asks…
Sims 3 Grim Reaper has moved in and lost his hood?
I asked him to move in and he said yes, but as soon as he moved in he became invisible and it was really annoying so I went on to plan outfit to see what the problem was and now he's wearing some stupid hat and stuff and I want his cloak back. I looked through all the options and I can't find it. Does anyone know where I can get it back?

Michael asks…
What does the grim reaper symbolize in this dream?
I had a dream that I was in an alley way in a city I didnt know, so basically I didnt know where I was. It was evening time, when the sun had just gone down. I was walking somewhere and there were two homeless men that were trying to get my attention, but I was walking normally away, hearing what they were saying, but not paying attention. Moments later, I am tying my shoe when I look up and the grim reaper is pushing me away from the two men, almost guiding me in another direction. So in a sense, it was trying to save me versus kill me, like they are supposed to do. I was able to see the face, still hooded with the staff, but its face was a skull with black skin(same color as his cloak) almost leather like. The reaper didnt talk, but rather just led me in another direction. Im still puzzled as to what this may symbolize. I had some issues sleeping months ago and Im just getting back on track and able to dream again, these dreams are more vivid than I have had before and I am actually able to remeber them. If anyone has to any idea what this dream could mean, any insight would be appreciated.

Maybe because you dont know where you were located you may be a little lost in your guidance in your own life. The homeless people to me represent almost a burden, grudge, or an unfinished task that seems to be nagging in the back of your mind. The grim reaper guiding you away from them could possibly be your procrastination or guilt trying to flee from your own feelings.

Mark asks…
How many yards of fabric do I need to make a cloak?
I'm about 5'2" and the cloak should be about ankle-length plus the hood. The cloak design is like something you would see on a grim reaper. It covers, like, the whole body. And, also, what kind of fabric should I use?

andre1 answers:
Depends on the design of the cloak, the width of the fabric, and the size of the wearer.

And some basic DIY: http://www.theweebsite.com/sewing/cloaks/
Avoid the temptation of velvet and satin cloaks unless you've been sewing for awhile. Also avoid patterns that call for a large amount of fabric to be gathered at the neckline and then a hood sewn to it, like the infamous Kinsale cloak: http://www.folkwear.com/207.html Also avoid fabrics that have a lot of stretch to them...stretch velvets, fleece, etc. Unless you're willing to let the cloak hang out before hemming -- the weight of the fabric really distorts the shape after a bit.
Stable wovens like wool flannel or wool worsted, twills, corduroy, brocades, etc all will work fine in cloaks. Choose something that does not hang in stiff folds if possible.
